Discussion concerning the free SQL Sentry Plan Explorer

Running SQL Server 2008 R2 Developer on Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. I download and installed .NET 4, rebooted, installed the Add-In, rebooted, brought up SSMS, ran an estimated plan for a query, right-clicked, selected "View with SQL Sentry Plan Explorer", and absolutely nothing happens. Nothing. Tried different databases, tables, rebooted some more.
Ideas?

Larry, did you install *just* the add-in, or did you also install Plan Explorer (it is an application separate from the add-in)?

I went to this page ( http://www.sqlsentry.com/plan-explorer/sql-server-query-view.asp ) and clicked this link ( http://downloads.sqlsentry.net/downloads/sqlsentryplanexplorer/SQLSentryPlanExplorerSSMSAddinSetup.msi ). I didn't see anything else I was supposed to do.
Ah, I see my mistake. At the very bottom of the page it says, "There is an add-in available to make working with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Sentry Plan Explorer more seamless. Installing the add-in allows you to jump directly to Plan Explorer from a native execution plan, simply by right-clicking the plan and choosing the "View with SQL Sentry Plan Explorer" context menu option (Plan Explorer must be installed separately). At this time the add-in works with Management Studio for SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, and SQL Server 2008 R2. Watch this space for updates regarding compatibility with SQL Server code-named "Denali."

i try to install SQL Sentry Plan Explorer x64 but i can't. error message ' installation package is not supported by this processor type' so how to go about this.

Ben, are you sure you are running an x64 operating system? Is this a primary OS or a virtual machine? Is it possible you are running in WoW mode? Did you try running the x86 installer?
